ELENA PICCIONE
Elena Piccione offers a powerful gateway for those seeking to engage with culture at the highest level.
Through exclusive private concerts, bespoke educational seminars, elite mentorship, cultural consultancy, and strategic cultural initiatives, she creates transformative experiences that extend beyond musical performance.
A multilingual classical pianist, educator and recording artist, Elena brings her artistry directly to individuals, institutions and organisations. Whether performing in intimate private recitals, leading educational seminars, or advising on cultural strategy, she seamlessly blends her musical expertise with intellectual and cultural insight, ensuring each engagement is profound, impactful, and tailored to the unique needs of her audience.
Elena Piccione’s musical journey began at the age of seven under the mentorship of Prof. Stefania Tigossi, and by twelve, she had already given her first piano recital at Piaggio Aerospace (formerly Piaggio Aero Industries), marking the beginning of her commitment to expanding the reach of classical music into diverse professional sectors.
Graduating with a Master’s Degree in Piano at the age of 18 while attending Liceo Scientifico, Elena further refined her technique under the guidance of Prof. Giovanni Alvino. Over the years, she expanded her repertoire, cultivating an extensive and diverse collection of works spanning over 300 years of European and American music.
Elena’s artistry extends beyond performance; she was the first pianist to perform at the Royal Observatory in Greenwich, London, as part of The Music of Cosmos event, blending Johann Sebastian Bach’s music with the existential experience of cosmic exploration. This event, which she co-created, featured a collaboration with cosmonaut Dumitru Prunariu and delved into Bach’s philosophy of music and the expansion of human consciousness. As the director of CEM Education Ltd., Elena continues to create and lead transformative cultural and educational experiences that push the boundaries of classical music and its intersection with wider intellectual and philosophical themes.
As an independent artist, she is devoted to curating a recorded portfolio where she can express and document her musical ideas in an unrestricted environment, free from the constraints of live performances.
Additionally, Elena is a dedicated educator, cultivating an international community of students. Her holistic approach emphasises a strong technical foundation while nurturing creativity, critical thinking, and personal growth in her students.
Elena’s commitment to education is reflected in her leadership of several key initiatives. She founded Associazione Mozart Italia in Finale Ligure, where she served as president and artistic director. She is also the director of Arad International Masterclasses and previously led Art In Conversation as Executive Director. Through her work, including masterclasses, mentorship and consultations, Elena plays a vital role in developing talent and fostering both artistic and intellectual growth.
Elena’s intellectual contributions extend to her written work, with numerous articles exploring the intersection of music and society, published in prestigious outlets like Musical Opinion, the UK's oldest continuously published classical music journal. She is a member of ISME (International Society for Music Education) and SEMPRE (Society for Education, Music, and Psychology Research). Through her diverse journey, Elena Piccione has established herself as a leading artist and a significant figure in cultural and intellectual discourse.
